Abuse Reporting

If the Proxeta Service is being used to attack you, to distribute malware, to commit fraud, or in any other way that violates the Acceptable Use Policy, tell us. We investigate reports and act on them.

Effective date:
26 September 2026
Last updated:

Version:

1. What you can report

  • abuse of the Service, including spam, scanning, brute force or denial-of-service activity;
  • fraud, phishing or impersonation that appears to use Proxeta infrastructure or branding;
  • malware distribution or command-and-control traffic;
  • illegal content or illegal use;
  • a security incident affecting your account, credentials or an order;
  • copyright or trademark infringement.

2. Where to send it

Reports are accepted through the Proxeta support center and the Proxeta Telegram bot, using the same channels as ordinary support. No dedicated abuse mailbox exists, and we do not publish one that would not be monitored.

3. What to include

  • a short description of what happened and when it started;
  • the IP address, hostname, URL or account involved, as precisely as you can;
  • any evidence you can share safely: log excerpts, headers, timestamps, screenshots;
  • your contact address for follow-up questions;
  • if you represent an organisation, the capacity in which you are writing.

Do not send passwords, private keys, payment secrets or other credentials. Do not perform your own active testing against Proxeta infrastructure.

4. What happens next

  • We review the report and may ask clarifying questions.
  • We may review internal technical records relating to the reported address or account.
  • Where a violation is confirmed, we may rate-limit, suspend or terminate the account, product or order involved, and preserve the relevant records.
  • Where the law requires or permits it, we may notify the competent authorities.
  • We will tell you the outcome where we lawfully can. We cannot disclose information about another account holder beyond what is necessary to resolve the report.

Proxeta does not monitor the content of customer traffic and cannot always identify a user of a shared or rotating proxy address. Where a specific report cannot be attributed to a specific account, we will explain that instead of claiming an outcome we cannot support.

See the Acceptable Use Policy for the rules that apply, and the Privacy Policy for how we handle the information you provide in a report.
